We provide construction, fabrication and procurement services for various mines including copper, diamond, gold, silver, nickel, potash, uranium, molybdenum, salt, oilsands and cement. From expanding the output of an existing facility, to replacing or upgrading major components, or starting from scratch, Aecon provides industry specialists to provide constructability input, detailed planning, and project execution through all phases of delivery.

Aecon provides vertically integrated construction solutions for a wide variety of industrial manufacturing applications such as industrial gases, steel and metals, automotive, battery plants, food, and beverage facilities. Industrial Fabrication

Aecon’s substantial fabrication and modularization capacity, combined with our ability to efficiently utilize multiple facilities across the continent, is a significant advantage when undertaking large scale projects. Aecon operates over 300,000 sq ft of shop space across North America – producing up to 1,000,000 inches of weld per year on pipe spools of all configurations and all materials.

Aecon was awarded the first of a series of contracts for the Legacy Project that included early cavern development work, well pad construction, structural steel fabrication and erection, foundation construction and mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation work for the tank farm and the plant.
